World Records
was one of the Waterloo group of labels. Waterloo Music Co. began producing records in 1971 - including records for the Canadian Talent Library label and various independent projects. In 1977, they purchased the Melbourne label which was the classical label of Rodeo Records. The Waterloo Music Co, besides manufacturing records, ventured into a variety of related fields: importing and publishing music, importing and repairing instruments and music stands.
