Lithuanian born contralto Slava Ziemelyte began her singing studies with Lithuanian opera star E. Kardeliene in Montreal. She was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Conservatory in Toronto, with vocal teachers Madame Jessner and Dr. Ernesto Vinci.
