Richard Bonynge
Australian conductor Richard Bonynge is known to many as the widower of "La Stupenda", the breathtaking coloratura Joan Sutherland - and the conductor on virtually all of her performances on the world stage. But this CBE honoree's career has been extensive and varied: from 18th & 19th century bel canto (Bellini, Rossini, Donizetti), to ballet (Delibes, Offenbach, Tchaikovsky), and even harp concertos (featuring Osian Ellis).
