Pete Candoli
Pete Candoli was a jazz trumpeter who made his mark as a high-note specialist in the big-band era and went on to become one of the busiest studio musicians in Hollywood. His early years were spent in the bands of Tommy Dorsey and Woody Herman. But after his move to Los Angeles in 1955 and a stint with Stan Kenton, he worked with Henry Mancini, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee and a host of stars on stage and in the studio... for TV, movies and recordings in every genre.
