Dick Haymes

Dick Haymes

Dick Haymes was a popular big band vocalist during the 1940s, often featured with the orchestras of Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. With his own radio program, frequent movie roles and a string of pop hits, he maintained a busy career through the 1940s and 50s. A ballad specialist, he lapsed into obscurity by the 1960s despite occasional film and TV appearances.
