Hindsight Records

Hindsight Records is an American record company founded by Wally Heider. Heider built the catalog from Big Band jazz radio broadcasts that had never been released on record. For liner notes, he hired music historians such as Brad McCuen, and Irving Townsend. In 1979 Thomas Gramuglia of the Michelex Corporation bought the Hindsight catalog, consisting of over 9,000 copyrights and masters.
