This memorial album was produced in very limited numbers in 1977, shortly after Maria Callas' death. Made in Italy, it features arias from Macbeth, Il Trovatore, La Traviata, Medea, La Sonnambula, and Norma all recorded between 1952 and 1955 for Cetra Records. It is the "White Album" of opera - a tribute and a classic. This is the only copy we have actually seen and it is wonderful!
