Arnold Schoenberg: Serenade for Septet and Bass Voice No. 24

Vinyl LP in excellent condition - looks unplayed; jacket has lower left corner bump.

This 1962 release has the 21-year old John Williams playing guitar; also Gervaise de Peyer (clarinet), Hugo D'Alton (mandolin), Emanuel Hurwitz (violin), Cecil Aronowitz (viola), Terence Weil (cello) and Stephen Trier (bass clarinet). The basso vocal part is so demanding that it was normally taken by baritones as in this case with...well, John Case.
